– General Scheduling Instructions

Hearing Requests

Please complete Hearing Request as indicated. Note that all required fields (those with the asterisk) must be completed in order for request to be processed.

It is our intent to reply to your request within 15 minutes. However, this may not always be possible due to staffing, courtroom schedule or volume of requests. Please be patient.

Our calendar will reflect your requested date and time with an asterisk (*) until your request has been confirmed utilizing the Confirmation form. A new case, motion and/or notice of hearing must be filed by 4:00 p.m. on the next business day, or you will risk loss of that requested hearing date and time.

Hearing Confirmation Form

Please complete the Hearing Confirmation Request after you have filed/mailed your motion and/or notice of hearing. An e-mail response will be sent indicating your hearing date and time has been confirmed, and the calendar date and time will no longer include the asterisk.

Cancellation or Rescheduling Request

When a hearing needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, you must first complete this form. Please note that all required fields must be completed in order to process.

Court Scheduling

Any scheduling done by Circuit Court staff (i.e., pre-trial conferences, supplemental pre-trial conferences, scheduling conferences, Cobbs’ evaluations on the record, etc.) will be done by e-mailing the proposed date and time to the parties. The date and time will be entered as the actual time ifthere is no specific objection within a time specified in the e-mail. Example: scheduling of a hearing is e-mailed to you on Monday at 3:00 p.m.; the parties will have until Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. to advise of unavailability; otherwise the hearing will go forward and written notice will be sent.

The 47th Circuit Court thanks you in advance for your patience and understanding while we continue this work in progress. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.
